Disposing your cigar business

The selling of a cigars, humidors and cigar accessories business is also as hard as staring one. Most of these businesses are regarded as businesses of passion; there is more than making profits attached to it, the owner does what he loves. So for the business to be sold the buyer must meet the requirements included in the starting. But sometimes there are circumstances that may lead to the sale unwittingly as death, relocation, retirement, financial strains and other unforeseen factors.

In this family like business, most of the disposal is from one family member to the other, but if the mentioned factors as death occur and there is no one willing to take it up then it should be sold to the best buyer. The stock, the goodwill the humidors and cigar accessories both for sale and for use by the business should be valued to ascertain their true value. Also you should not forget to count the clientele for it dictates the efforts the buyer will input to keep it running.

In unfortunate cases where there are no willing buyers because of being perceived to be a low income entity; the owners can just sell it at throw away price or sell the premises or just get the goodwill and walk away with stock of cigars which can be smoked, given away or sold at whole price to similar shops. This could happen in places where the shop was started have become centers of other trades thus the cigar trade is out of mind.
